The Future of GPS (some of these products are already here...please contact us for further information)

We are already working on the GPS products of the future and some of these items ar much closer to being reality than you may think. With the reduction in size and shape of microchips and components, and  the development of flexible printed circuit boards we can now begin to design gps tracking devices that are almost unoticeable in todays hectic lifestyles. Coupled with the improved efficiency and reduced size of battery technology, the doors of enterprise are openning much wider in this field. For instance, we have already started to produce prototypes of our CATS.i Mk3 device which will be less than 5mm thick and able to slide into almost any item of clothing or electronic equipment.

Trackable clothing

This is merely a slighlty advanced version of the Wrist band concept. The gps device (Bug) is printed onto a flexible circiut board and sewn into the lining of the garment so that the wearer is less likely to feel or be aware of the unit during normal and everyday wear and tear. The garment will be fully machine washable and the Bug inside will be either rechargeable or solar powered, depending upon the model purchased or customers choice. lead time for this device is expected December 2008.

GPS enabled ballistic and blade proof clothing

Until now, the reluctance to incorporate GPS technology into body armour has been one purely down to "cost". However, we truly believe that if anyone deserves the protection that GPS can provide, its the type of people who are physically required to wear this type of equipment. We are currently working with a partner to develop the Velo into this type of product and to have it powered by solar material manufactured into the garment itself.
